Do you ever feel like you don’t have the necessary tools to face the challenges in your life? Are you tired of asking yourself, “How did I get here”? I feel it is important to meet you where you are, and I find joy in helping you discover your best self.
If you are experiencing difficulty coping with anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and/or trauma I can help you to work through it. If you are experiencing difficulty finding joy in things you once loved, I will give you the tools to cope and help you to reconnect with your true self.
It is imperative that clients feel comfortable, safe and develop a strong trust with their clinician in order for the therapeutic process to be effective. I provide a place where you can share your thoughts and feelings without the worry of being judged. I love helping my clients to re-frame their negative thoughts as well as help them gain new insight and perspective. I have years of experience working with adolescents as well as adults.
I completed my BA in Fine Arts: Theater Performance from Stockton University. I then went on to complete my Masters Degree in School Counseling and my Ed.S in Counseling from Seton Hall University. Finally, I returned to Stockton University to complete course work to obtain my Student Assistance Coordinator certification. I have spent my career working as both a Student Assistance Counselor in middle and high schools as well as a therapist in the private practice setting. I also have experience working in the inpatient, outpatient, addiction recovery services (ARS), crisis and school settings. I find it very rewarding to help my clients feel a sense of security while helping them explore how to discover their best selves!
